Follow us on a journey down the ‘yellow brick road’ into the life of Judy Garland, one of the brightest yet tragic stars of Hollywood‘s golden era.
Having lifelong career success starting from her role in ‘The Wizard of Oz‘, Judy’s personal story is one of sadness, due to her life long battle with depression and addiction, caused by the pressures of stardom.
In 1946, Judy gave birth to her most famous child Liza Minnelli, before going on to have greater success on the silver screen, starring in musicals such as ‘A Star Is Born‘ in the years to follow. She won a Golden Globe for this performance but disappointingly never managed to achieve her much desired Oscar!
