We asked The Good life France editor Janine Marsh to give us her three top tips to Toulouse - one of Euro 2016’s host cities.
- Don’t miss the 18th Century Capitole, a magnificent building in the centre of town. Check out the Salle des Illustres, with spectacular 19th century paintings on the ceiling and walls - it’s free.
- Have a go at being an astronaut: try your hand, or rather your feet, at moon walking in a moon gravity simulator at Cité de l’Espace
- Try the local speciality cassoulet, a mouth-watering stew of beans, pork, sausage, black pudding and duck confit served in traditional stone pots.
Janine has recently written a guide to all of the UEFA 2016 host cities, with everything you need to know if you are heading to France for the football (or not) this Summer.
