Last Thursday (14th April), the prestigious Freight Industry Times awards were held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham. AFerryfreight had been shortlisted for the customer service award and happily won this coveted prize against strong opposition.
The criteria by which the entrants were measured included:
– going that extra mile to provide customers with an outstanding level of service
– reference testimonials from major clients
– evidence of teamwork, best practice and customer knowledge
– Implementation of strategies and quality monitoring
The award was presented by Louise Naughton, Managing Editor of Zinc Media. In the picture are David Rowe, Sarah Pitman and Paul Mayoh from aferryfreight.
Sarah Pitman, Director at www.aferryfreight.co.uk was delighted with the win and commented ‘I am very proud to be recognised as a company within this fabulous industry. We are a small dedicated team, within quite a large organisation, where passenger ferry sales are our prime business, so are absolutely delighted with this nomination and award. We have been working extremely hard to improve all aspects of our business; including our levels of customer service. We feel that if we get that right, the rest will follow and we have not been proved wrong. The important thing now is to continue and improve even more”
AFerryFreight is part of the Aferry family and the aferry.co.uk brand, which was established in 2000. AFerryFreight was formed some 5 years later and has grown steadily to become a ‘one stop shop’ for freight bookings across the globe.
