We asked The Good life France editor Janine Marsh to give us her three top tips to Lens - one of Euro 2016’s host cities.
- Don’t miss the Louvre Lens, an extension of the Louvre in Paris. The new museum has a lot of soul and amazing exhibits which you can get close to in a way you can’t in other museums.
- Try the local cheese Maroilles – it’s stinky but delicious!
- Northern France is beer country. The most popular brew is Ch’ti beer known to the locals as “the blonde who dominates”.
