Famous Agents Programme Offers Special Perks & Bonuses for Members
Toronto 10th October 2013 – Whether it’s a tropical escape or an all-important business trip, FRHI Hotels & Resorts (FRHI) understands that travel agents work diligently to provide meaningful experiences and personalised service to their clients. With this in mind, FRHI’s travel agent education and rewards programme Famous Agents, is offering members two exclusive bonus offers.
From now until the end of the year, Famous Agents members can receive bonus points redeemable for getaways at some of the world’s most exotic destinations when they book clients at select FRHI hotel locations and will also be eligible to receive an elegant leather passport cover to protect their most important travel documents. Additionally, agents who share experiences from any Raffles, Fairmont or Swissôtel visit will have the opportunity to receive additional bonus points.
From 1st October – 31st December 2013, Famous Agents members who realise qualified client room nights at participating hotels (see list below) will earn double points. Travel agents are encouraged to share a memory of an unforgettable getaway at a Raffles, Fairmont, or Swissôtel property, to earn five bonus points redeemable for a number of valuable rewards. Year-round, Famous Agents members earn one point per qualified room night at the brand’s hotels including notable properties such as Raffles Singapore, Swissotel The Bosphorus, The Fairmont San Francisco and London’s The Savoy. Only 50 points are needed for a complimentary standard room at a city-centre property, while 75 points can go toward a standard room at a resort within the portfolio. Also available for redemption are gift cards from leading retailers. Additionally, members can redeem 15 Famous Agents Points for 500 Aeroplan Miles, MileagePlus Award Miles, Miles & More miles or Privilege Club Qmiles. These comprehensive mileage programs are associated with Star Alliance airlines including Air Canada, United Airlines, Lufthansa and Qatar Airways respectively.
Agents enjoy a multitude of benefits by joining Famous Agents in addition to room nights and vouchers, including exclusive member-only rates at FRHI hotel locations worldwide. The programme is easy to enrol in at frhi.com/famousagents, where agents review a short lesson module and answer corresponding multiple-choice questions. After submitting an online application form, agents receive a personalised membership number, which can be used immediately to track client reservations and earn points, because points are earned for reservations in all room categories and on wholesale bookings, Famous Agent members can quickly look forward to vacations at unrivalled destinations worldwide. Staying up-to-date is made easy with e-newsletters containing the latest news and developments as well as client and member-only offers, which are sent directly to Famous Agents members.
