If out and about in the Surrey Hills this December, take a seat by the fireside to enjoy our seasonal Festive Afternoon Tea at the Mercure Box Hill Burford Bridge Hotel from just £16.95 per person.
To launch on 1st December and available for the entire month, chef has created a veritable feast of delectable delights which can be enjoyed in The Lounge whilst contemplating examples of the flora and fauna and views you might have seen on Box Hill.
Classic Christmas sandwich fillings such as Smoked Salmon & Dill Cream Cheese, Turkey & Cranberry, Rare Roast Beef with Watercress Mayonnaise and Roasted Pepper, Goats Cheese & Chestnut Pesto make up the savoury selection. For the sweet tier, chef has devised special cinnamon & mixed peel scones, served with clotted cream and mulled berry jam followed by gingerbread macaroons with Cointeau cream and chestnut & vanilla cheesecake. For an extra special touch, guests may mark the occasion by selecting the Champagne Festive Afternoon complete with a glass of bubbly for just £24.95 per person.
If you are just popping in for a coffee after a walk on the Whites, Mercure Box Hill Burford Bridge Hotel is also serving spiced all butter Mincemeat Palmiers with any coffee or tea served in The Bar in December.
