Rest your head in Midi-Pyrénées

Opening 1st March 2014 the 4* Villa Toscane is the latest addition to the hotel offerings in Marciac - famed for its Jazz festival. This idyllic retreat, set in the 19th century school will offer a number of pampering opportunities, making it a great escape for a girly weekend.

Guests can salsa the night away in Vic-fezensac, then waltz their way to the Castel Pierre Boutique Hotel. Set in the small village of Lagraulet, in the heart of the Armagnac vineyards and owned by a qualified oenologist, wine buffs and foodies will delight in this rural retreat.

The Brit Hotel Eco Sweet in Castres has all the style and comfort visitors could want for, yet embraces sustainability – featuring solar panels, rainwater-harvesting systems and many more energy-saving designs. Guests will also enjoy a range of homemade, freshly prepared, organic gourmet dishes in the hotels brassiere “A ma cuis’in”.

Located between Montauban and the Aveyron Gorge is the Hôtel des Arts. The recently completed new build, is a modern family-friendly hotel with 22 cosy and welcoming rooms, some of which feature a kitchenette.

Take to the water with Le Haricot noir a new barge hotel on the Canal du Midi. This canal boat hotel can be booked as a gîte (for up to 12 guests) or as a hotel (maximum 6 guests) for a go-as-you-please holiday exploring the Canal du Midi. Guest are given the chance to help out as a crew member and even have a hand on the tiller if adventurous enough, closely supervised by the captain of course! When booked as a hotel, meals are eaten together on board in table d’hôte style.
