The second most visited attraction in France, Futuroscope is a unique theme park experience based on the visual and the senses. Located near Poitiers in the Poitou-Charentes region of France, Futuroscope has welcomed more than 40 million visitors since it opened in June 1987, with an aim to ‘harness the future’.
In 2012, Futuroscope celebratd its 25th birthday with a special line-up of entertainment, including two brand new attractions: iMagic a great new magic show filled with stunning special effects from Bertran Lotth and Arthur Jugnot and a theatre edition of the classic tale of The Little Prince with more thrilling sensory effects. The line-up also includes a film festival with visitors’ IMAX favourites, new-look classics such as Dynamic Vienne and The Blue Note Mystery evening show and even a visit from the spectacular people of the Future, who have travelled from the year 2112 to display their awesome physical and intellectual powers to guests of the park.
Futuroscope is a great place for all ages, with 60 hectares of tranquil green countryside and 25 original experiences, with everything from films in giant format, thrill-filled attractions, games, live shows, open activities and more.
