Thursdays - Palm Springs VillageFest. Outdoor fair featuring music, arts, crafts, farmer’s market, vendor carts, souvenirs, and live entertainment. Free admission. Hours: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Along Palm Canyon Drive . 760/320-3781.

Fridays - La Quinta Mainstreet Marketplace. Themed events the first Friday of each month, November through April, featuring hand crafters, artisans and collectors. Food, beer and wine garden and musical entertainment. ( 6-10 p.m. ) Outdoors on Calle Estabo in the New Village. 760/564-3199.

17 — Theatre Arts Summer Camp at the Palm Canyon Theatre, presented for the sixth year for young people ages 8-18.
