We asked The Good life France editor Janine Marsh to give us her three top tips to Paris – one of Euro 2016’s host cities.
- Take a cruise on the Seine to get a sense of the city and its sites with a hop on, hop off ride that you can enjoy all day.
- Have a Paris picnic: There are lots of parks and gardens where you can relax including the Bois de Boulogne next to Parc des Princes football stadium.
- Visit Montmartre for its arty, bucolic vibe and Sacré-Coeur, get away from the crowds at the Musée de Montmartre with its beautiful gardens, views over Paris and fabulous collections.
Janine has recently written a guide to all of the UEFA 2016 host cities, with everything you need to know if you are heading to France for the football (or not) this Summer.
