We asked The Good life France editor Janine Marsh to give us her three top tips to Nice – one of Euro 2016’s host cities.
- Chill out on the pebble beach (don’t worry you can hire a comfy sun bed) or take an hour long boat trip round the bay.
- Wander the old town of Nice, the vibrant colours and elegant squares are outstanding; stop for a cool drink in Cours Saleya where the daily market is held.
- Try the local speciality Socca (not soccer!); Chez Pipo near the port is where the locals go for this speciality pancake made form chickpea flour and olive oil.
Janine has recently written a guide to all of the UEFA 2016 host cities for Voyages-sncf.com, with everything you need to know if you are heading to France for the football (or not) this Summer.
