Affordable house prices and favourable exchange rates mean a dream home in France is well within the reach of many British buyers. In January the chance to own a pied à terre comes closer as The France Show returns to London Olympia.
The long-running lifestyle and property show takes place from 29th -31th January 2016 and is home to The French Property Exhibition, which features thousands of properties for sale from all regions of France as well as legal, financial and other practical advice to make the dream a reality.
International tax and financial planning firm Forth Capital is the 2016 show’s headline sponsor. CEO Tom Tracy is looking forward to the event: “The France Show is the premier event for UK residents with an interest in France and we are pleased to be of service to visitors of the show who can benefit from our international tax and financial planning expertise.”
Highlights of the French Property Exhibition include:
- The French Property Seminars: These expert-led sessions cover essential info including where to buy, the purchase process, managing your finances, earning a living and navigating daily life.
- An even bigger French Property Exhibition: A wider choice of French estate agents for 2016 means even more great value houses to choose from.
- The chance to talk to experts: A highlight of the show is the opportunity to talk face-to-face with professionals including tax and legal experts, removal firms and representatives from the Franco-British Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
According to Rachel Johnson of bank Crédit Agricole Britline, sponsor of the Seminar Theatres, the opportunity to talk to experts is a vital aspect of the show. “Meeting the experts and taking part in the theatre presentations is an absolute must,” she says. “Every year on our stand we meet couples with well planned projects who aren’t aware they needed a bank account in France or how best to transfer funds in order to meet running costs and mortgage repayments on their property. This is why we have decided to run a session on banking in France at the show.”
In addition to hosting The French Property Exhibition, the show allows visitors to experience the best of the French lifestyle, from tasting wine with experts such as the Telegraph’s Susy Atkins and watching top chefs in action to discovering new holiday destinations, shopping at the huge French market and enjoying live entertainment. What better way to launch 2016 than planning a property purchase in France?
The France Show takes place at London Olympia from 29-31 January 2016.
Entrance to the French Property Exhibition and all seminars is included in the price of entry (seminar tickets must be reserved free of charge on the day).
