Tours of Goodwood House are the best way to truly experience the State Apartments, the celebrated picture collection and the historic English and fine French furniture acquired over the centuries. The guides talk with such passion and authority that it is clear to see that they truly cherish this remarkable House. Curator of the Goodwood Collection, James Peill oversees a young and dedicated team of conservationists who painstakingly maintain, restore and rotate the House collection, keeping it in prime condition. The tour is followed by afternoon tea in the Ballroom with delicious homemade scones accompanied by Goodwood cream and butter with jam made from Estate fruit.
