Following its successful first season on the Greek island of Mykonos since the major design overhaul that restored the hotel to its former, 1960s glory, luxury hotel, Mykonos Theoxenia, is preparing to open its doors for a second season at the end of April 2005.
2005 marks the opening of Mykonos Theoxenia�s �bhealthy� club. The �bhealthy� club will offer a modern, state of the art gym overlooking the Aegean and experienced staff offering rejuvenating massage techniques and beauty treatments. Guests can enjoy a massage in the club�s specially-designed Massage Room, in the privacy of their bedroom or whilst lying comfortably by the swimming-pool.
Treatments at the new spa facility include the blissful Ocean Massage, the Holistic Massage and the Hot Stone Massage. The Ocean Massage aims to relax and balance the body and includes a full body massage with ocean-based materials and a facial massage with shells. This massage replenishes the moisture in the body; smoothes wrinkles and adds a healthy glow to the skin. The Holistic Massage treats the body as a whole rather than concentrating on separate physical conditions. The movements involved are generally slower and more meditative than in any other form of massage and help total relaxation. The Hot Stone massage uses volcanic stones on specific parts of the body or �chakras�. The procedure is particularly good for breaking down fatty tissue and cellulite. Of course regular beauty treatments and grooming such as manicure and pedicure are also available with priority reservations for hotel patrons.
