• Louis Hotels numbers 26 four and five star hotels as well as �A� category hotel apartments and holiday villages on the islands of Cyprus, Crete, Corfu, Zakynthos, Mykonos, Kos and Kefalonia.

• Louis Hotels is part of The Louis Organisation � an organisation founded by the late Louis Loizou, known as the father of Cyprus Tourism, in 1938. Today, The Louis Organisation is owned and managed by the heirs of the late Louis Loizou, Mr Costakis Loizou (Executive Chairman) and Mr Vakis Loizou (Executive Vice Chairman). Over the years, the Organisation has developed into one of the leading groups in Travel, Tourism, Cruise, Hotel and Catering groups in the Mediterranean. At present, apart from the Government, the group is the largest employer in Cyprus.

• Louis Hotels numbers a selection of properties that have been designed with family travel in mind. This �Family Active Hotels� focus on the special requirements of parents and young children with supervised mini clubs, activity and entertainment programmes, extensive playgrounds, children�s menus, as well as a baby-sitting service. Louis Hotels has also developed the unique �Family World Centre� concept, offering special facilities free of charge, such as pushchairs and other baby equipment, supervised creche for infants, Santelino children�s club and much more. The chain is also very well established in the all-inclusive sector with the majority of its properties featuring high standard of all inclusive arrangements.

• Louis Hotels has recently completed its 2002/2003 renovation programme which has seen the following improvements:
  • Following the renovation of all its bedrooms during Winter 2001/2002 the Louis Ledra Beach, Pafos has now completed the second phase of its extensive renovations. The lobby and bar area, as well as the meeting rooms at the mezzanine have been fully renovated. A new indoor pool for the Health Centre has been constructed and the existing outdoor pool and gardens have a complete new look, upgrading this hotel to even higher standards.

  • Louis Phaethon Beach, Pafos - A two-year renovation plan of all the Phaethon rooms has been completed to include their transformation into four-bed family rooms or studio rooms with sitting area.

  • Major renovations have taken place at Louis Princess Hotel, Larnaca. All the rooms of the main building as well as the reception area, the lobby and the bar have been redesigned and fully renovated. A new swimming pool featuring an artificial beach has been constructed as well as a new amphitheatre and an animation stage. The mini club and the gym in the basement area have been upgraded, while a steam bath and a Jacuzzi has been added.

  • 58 rooms of Louis Nausicaa Beach, Protarus have been redesigned and completely renovated. The new rooms renovation forms part of a three-year plan of the complete renovation of all its 192 apartments. In addition to the recently constructed a la carte Hippopotamus restaurant, the main restaurant has been renovated during winter 2001/2002 creating a completely new image. LOUIS CRUISE LINES

• Louis Cruise Lines, for the summer season 2003, has expanded its programme by adding a seven-day cruise from Limassol to Rhodes, Patmos, Mykonos, Santorini and Alexandria (Egypt).
