Brooklands Group, publisher of A Place in the Sun magazine � official publication of the hit Channel 4 TV show � is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Editor for the overseas property industry�s biggest and best-selling consumer title.
He is Richard Way, and he will move across from the company�s Special Projects department where his previous responsibilities included a series of highly-regarded supplements covering topics as diverse as investment, golf, overseas property prices and a range of single-country guides.
Richard, 31, has been with Brooklands Group for nearly four years, first as Deputy Editor and then Editor on everything Spain magazine, which merged with A Place in the Sun some 18 months ago. He has a BA Honours Degree in modern languages and, in the course of a successful B2B publishing career, has worked for DMG Business Media and the Financial Times.
Richard replaces Matt Havercroft, who is relocating to the West Country with the thanks and best wishes of everybody connected with Brooklands Group and A Place in the Sun.
