When visiting the Victoria & Albert Museum the other day to experience the excellent Bowie exhibition, I found myself walking beneath London’s streets straight through to the museum from an underground pedestrian tunnel linked to South Kensington London Underground Station.
Every time I have visited the clutch of museums around Exhibition Road before, I have always visited above ground so this for me, was a very happy discovery. This photo reminds me of this priceless find :). You can also access the Science and the Natural History Museum via this walkway too.
