Head Chef Nick’s take on the traditional roast offers everything you might expect but with a playful twist of his own. The Easter menu includes leek & potato soup with goat’s cheese gougère or roasted woodpigeon with haricot Blanc and pancetta to start. The Easter essential main of roast rump of lamb or roast loin & confit belly of West Country pork and a spinach & watercress risotto topped with dirty vicar cheese for the vegetarian and flexitarian alike; all main courses are served with a selection of seasonal vegetables and accompaniments for the table. The homemade desserts include; sticky toffee pudding with stem ginger ice cream, the classis citrus posset or the devilishly delicious warm chocolate brownie with walnut & banana ice cream.
